Over the course of 6 months, our team set out to improve the utility of Ergonomic Solution’s car desk product through a series of stakeholder interviews, market research, and prototyping.

Our team's goal was to redesign a mobile desk that could be easily installed in a car for on-the-go work. We partnered with Ergonomic Solutions, a company known for its line of portable desks tailored to various vehicles. For the redesign, Ergonomic Solutions aimed to refresh their CarGo product to better meet the evolving needs of users.

Target users are those who work on-the-go (Traveling salespeople, real estate agents, on-the-go parents…). Our team interviewed 3 professionals whose jobs include working on-the-go.

To determine how to best attach the desk to the steering wheel, we prototyped different cutout shapes using cardboard and a laser jet.
